** Access to Computer Club Secure MailboWeb Mail Box **

Web Mail Login Information:

Contact Melvin, Michael, or Tony, for Password

Note that access to our Web Mail is NOT normally allowed but
Webmaster Melvin Ashton may be prepared do demonstrate its
use to Club Members.
Secure Mailboxes are relatively expensive and time consuming to set up but, unlike a basic email address, they allow Auto Replies andother advanced features.

 


Secure Mailbox Notes

Outwood Computer Club now have a 123-Reg Secure Mailbox - with Auto Reply and Auto Signature .......

Open https://webmail.123-reg.co.uk

Login Name: mail@outwoodcomputerclub.co.uk

Password - can be obtained from Michael, Tony or Melvin.

Some folders have been set up - others can be added if desired .........
Melvin Ashton, Michael Hooley,  Secretary, Tony Banks and Treasurer.

Open an email, right click on the 'From' box and select 'Add to Address Book'.

To Move an email, 'drag' it from it's current folder and 'drop it' in the desired folder.

If you accidentally 'Move' to 'Trash' you can retrieve it from the 'Trash' folder.
.... before you turn off your 'confuser': once deleted from 'Trash' it is gone forever !!

Compose & Send a test to Mel if you wish, (already in the address book) - or enter manually, mel@outwoodcomputerclub.co.uk.  Then hit 'Read Mail' - you should get an IMMEDIATE reply from Mel's Auto Responder.

A Computer does not need to be on for Auto Replies from a Secure Mailbox.

Notes:
1) Always 'Compose' & 'Send', 'Reply', etc. from within the Secure Mailbox.
2) Emails to mel@outwoodcomputerclub.co.uk,
    michael@outwoodcomputerclub.co.uk and,
    tony@outwoodcomputerclub.co.uk will forward to their PERSONAL email
    addresses and will NOT enter the Club's Secure Mailbox.

Remember to hit the 'logoff' link when leaving the mailbox.
