AFTER LOSING HOLLY - NO MORE DOGS ! but .... Friday 16th August, 2019 A VERY SAD UPDATE on Friday 16th August, 2019 Sadly, Chloe, had become more and more violent and still wouldn't wear a collar, harness, or muzzle. She has bitten me many times and June has lots of bruises where Chloe has pawed her for attention. On our last visit for grooming, she viciously attacked groomer Carol and staff and they could do nothing with her so called me to collect her. When I called, we ALL had another attempt but couldn't get near her for grooming ! On my return home, June, myself and vets, discussed the situation THOROUGHLY and, very sadly, decided that the best option was for her to be put to sleep 🙁 I took Chloe on Friday 16th August (2019) and obviously she was trying to attack the vet, his assistant, and myself. The vet had to inject FOUR TIMES to sedate her, (once normally suffices), before he could shave her leg, attach a cannula and administer the final injection. I stayed several minutes loving and apologizing to Chloe. RIP CHLOE, so sorry for failing her and hoping she may be able to forgive us On arrival at the vets it was dull and raining but, on exit on my own, the sky was bright sunshine with the largest complete rainbow that I have ever seen. Perhaps Chloe was passing over that 'Rainbow Bridge' ?? Monday 27th May, 2019
As we were packing our car ready to return home to
Outwood, Wakefield, we didn't notice that Chloe had decided to take
a walk to 'her' park in the gardens adjacent to our guest house -
the 'Richmond' at about 10:00 am ..... 2018
