I regret to inform you that I heard from Tony Brown that our colleague Ken Ogden died recently.  You are, no doubt, aware that Ken had been suffering from cancer for a considerable time and seemed to be doing reasonably well but the 'Big C' presumably caused his recent death.

Ken's obituary from the 'Wakefield Express'  Friday, 17th December, 2010:
OGDEN KEN On 5th December peacefully in St James Hospital Leeds, aged 64 years, retired BBC electronics engineer. Beloved Husband of the late Barbara. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Donations to Cancer Research UK. Funeral Tuesday 21st December, service at Wakefield Crematorium at 3pm.
