It is very sad news about Doc
Fuch's. ie Bryan. We cannot attend his funeral but please convey
our sincere apologies from Phil and Bernice in South Africa to
his family. Did he die from cancer? We are guessing this is so.
It was lovely that he managed to see us and us him in Outwood 4
years ago, so we have memories of him which we treasure. We are
all growing older and so are going to face heart-ache when we
loose absent friends who are so much part of us, but let us
dwell on what we remember. Him standing with his feet side ways
wearing a dark suite and a thin tie with his hands in his
pockets. Him having a lovely friendly nature and being part of
the gang, especially when they visited me with you all, at Bretton Hall Teachers Training College.
God bless to him always.
Lots of luv from
Bernice and Phil

Sorry to hear about Bryan, we
were Room mates in the old house (room 2) along with Duncan,
Eric, Nigel and Haggis.
Sorry I won't be able to make the
funeral but please pass on my condolences.
Have my daughter over and
unfortunately she is suffering with MS.
Regards to all.

Mel,
This is indeed sad news. If you have occasion to contact
Bryan's family would you please convey my sympathy at their sad
loss. The memories I have of "Doc" are all good ones and it was
good to meet him at the last reunion.

Hi. Melvin. If you do go to the Crem, please convey Ann and my
condolences to Bryan's family. Living in Crofton I used to see
him occasionally, he used to bring our Grattan parcel years ago. I
can also recall a trip to Carlisle with Bryan and Tony Allott and
Tony was told by Bryan that the car Bryan had borrowed from his dad
was insured for anyone to drive. Anyway Tony was driving in Carlisle
and another car ran into the rear drivers side and made rather a lot
of damage, which Tony had to pay for because the car was not insured
for anyother driver. Tony was not best pleased. Trevor (Hopwood) - a friend of many of us Isherwood guys. Oops - but I doubt that the insurance issue will bother Bryan now ! - Mel Ashton |
