Mel's DVD Video Recorder Spent most of it's time in self-check mode !!

Machine now fixed - by Tony Brown ......

A 'repair kit' is available from Tony but, containing a small IC regulator and several surface mount components, requires tools, equipment and expertise to carry out the repair.

Alternatively, Tony will carry out the repair for you - no guarantee of success but much more likely to be successful than a 'self repair'.
I RECOMMEND THIS BECAUSE THE CARD IS DOUBLE SIDED WITH VERY SMALL SURFACE MOUNTED COMPONENTS WHICH CAN BE DESTROYED VERY EASILY
