Irene & John Plunkett with 'Wally' (now departed) moored at Museum Gardens (York)

Irene & John hired Mel's boat 'Oxford Blue' for a day cruise with family around 1995 ?
They enjoyed the day and booked 'Baby Blue' for a week (or two weeks ??)

Irene, John & family cruised from Stanley Ferry to Ripon & back via Selby, and  the tidal river Ouse (Selby to Naburn).

'Smitten' (a Yorkshire term ?) with boating and waterways, Irene & John purchased a wide beam boat and cruised extensively in the UK before moving her onto European waters after taking early retirement.
