Email - January, 2005 Dear Melvin Trust the reunion went well once again sorry I was unable to make it but our old neighbours had invited a crowd of us for a meal and by the time I had heard of the get together from Bryan Dickens it was to late to make new arrangements. It is a long time since I hung up my screwdrivers and headed for the sales side of the industry working with the Coop initially in Wakefield and onto Doncaster and in 1971 back to Barnsley as department manager 1974 after 10 years of marriage our only son Dan was born who now works for Mencap as management training officer. Dan married last year 04 and his wife is training manager at the Royal Armouries I moved from Barnsley in 1984 to head office of Coop Retail Services as National product manager TV Video Audio and my final job was National Rental manager until 1997 when the account was sold to Granada IAs you will see from my email address I am now earning a crust on a casual basis as a toastmaster and if you fancy a smile log on to my web site at www.toast-master.org Val still works part time as a radiographer at the Barnsley hospital they will eventually kick her out when she gets to 65 Best wishes for the New year Peter Whitehead
